Taste of Hope

American Cancer Society’s Taste of Hope is a culinary, wine and spirits tasting event featuring some of New York's top restaurants and vendors, all set within a cocktail party atmosphere. Proceeds from Taste of Hope will help the American Cancer Society in its mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back. In past years this event has raised over $150,000 for the cause.

For nearly a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. The 7th Annual Taste of Hope is a culinary tasting event featuring some of the city's most popular restaurants as well as premium wines and spirits. This year the American Cancer Society will be honoring Chef Todd English for his efforts to find a cure. In past years this event has raised over $150,000 for the cause, and we expect to exceed that number this year.
