At this free monthly event, hosted by Gelf, John Eisenberg, Doug Merlino, and Jon Wertheim will read from and talk about their work. Eisenberg will revisit Vince Lombardi's first season in Green Bay, before coach became legend. Merlino will recount his season playing basketball a quarter century ago on a team that was an experiment in racial harmony, and how that season affected the players' lives. And Wertheim will offer up insightful and surprising discoveries about sports analysis and psychology.
