MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Animation Block Party 2012 is now open for submissions.

This summer will mark the ninth annual Animation Block Party film festival. We are dedicated to exhibiting the world's best independent, professional and student animation.

All genres and themes of animation are welcome.

ABP's festival jury decides ten special awards, ranging from best in show to music video, experimental film, original design, computer animation, etc.

2012 prizes will include animation software, gift certificates, designer bags, computer supplies and a cash production grant for best student film.

Animation Block Party 2012 will run from July 27-July 29 in Brooklyn, NY at Rooftop Films and Bam Cinematek.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Animation Block Party was attended by over 3000 fans and filmmakers in 2011, receiving positive notice in the New York Times, Village Voice, Time Out NY, Daily News, AWN, New York Magazine, etc.
