Agile Project Management with Scrum

Thursday, September 13th from 8:00 - 9:30 pm

Joe Krebs, Author, Agile Portfolio Management

Today, 2 out of 3 new IT projects start agile. Agile is not only very popular, it is for many organizations essential. Therefore successful start-up’s are doing it so do many large organizations that transition to it. Why? Reducing costs, increasing productivity and return of investment are often on the top of the list. But agile does much more. Positive side-effects include increased quality, higher morale and most importantly more creativity and faster rate of innovation.  Scrum is a simple, but highly effective instrument to do all that.

Student Takeaways:

After this 90 minute session you will know who is expected to do what in a Scrum project. In addition, we will cover all the deliverables Scrum teams produce and discuss why they are so important. We will also simulate basic self-organization and get through an exercise that demonstrates that iterative development is the foundation for forecasting projects and its deliverables.

There are no pre-requisites for this class.
