Description
Discover the major regions of France : Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley, Loire, Languedoc, Champagne, Alsace. Discover the climate, the importance of the "terroir". Learn about the AOC system, how to read a French label, understand the different classification, the French Paradox, the difference between French and American wines. Extensive handout material will be provided. 5 wines will be served. Cost $30/person. Seminar begins promptly at 3PM and ends at 4:30PM Class size limited to 16 people. RSVP essential. Credit card confirmation required.
