Description

The Southgate House is a nationally recognized premier music venue, heralded for intimate settings, a spacious ballroom, and an overall friendly atmosphere. Not only is our venue a regular stop for countless touring acts, we're also incredibly supportive of our regional music scene.

Our first floor - Juney's Lounge - offers pool tables, comfortable seating, and a jukebox filled with obscure and classic country and rock 'n roll - sure to impress any aficionado. Every Monday our Lounge hosts open mic night, and Wed - Sun we feature the best folk, country, and roots acts that we can find. Up-and-coming or well established, folk, country, and roots acts are encouraged to drop us a line about playing in this room whenever they swing through our neck of the woods.

Our Ballroom holds about 600 music fans and features a balcony with great views from every angle. A state-of-the-art stage and sound system offers the best sound in town and several bars offer continuous service.

A second-floor Parlour offers a more intimate and personal environment for relaxed performances. This room is perfectly suited for artists seeking an intimate "coffeehouse" or "basement show" type of vibe.

The best part, for performers and music fans: Usually, we'll have all three rooms operating at once, offering simultaneous shows that complement each other and contribute to an extremely festive atmosphere.
