VISUAL ART CAMP
Ages 6 - 14
The Visual Art Camp is a four day visual arts experience. Artists will complete eight separate projects in workshops led by local artists. David Rex Joyner will serve as camp leader.
David Rex Joyner's Biography:
Native New Orleanian David Rex Joyner discovered painting around age 17. After 5 years of painting and curating shows at his French Quarter studio he entered the MFA program in painting at UNO and finished the Spring of 1999. Joyner graduated in 2002 with his Masters in Education and is currently an Art instructor and Drama coordinator at Brother Martin High School.
All camps meet Monday through Thursday (4 days) from 9:00am until 3:00pm
Doors will open at 8:30 am and close at 3:30 pm.
Students should bring a sack lunch.
Enrollment limited to 20 students per camp.
