The festival begins with a parade corner of South Peters & Poydras. Parade rolls down Canal Street with masquaraders dancing to the beat of steel pan and Soca music. Parade ends in Lafayette Square selling with venders selling mouth watering Caribbean dishes and tropical drinks.
