AUTM - Association of University Technology Managers Annual Meeting 2010

The 2010 AUTM Annual Meeting will take place March 18 - 20 in New Orleans at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The meeting is a three-day educational conference that draws from the global community of technology transfer professionals, researchers and other intellectual property experts. The Annual Meeting features 10 educational tracks and 60 interactive workshops developed for seasoned technology transfer professionals and newcomers to the field. The association was founded in 1974 as the Society of University Patent Administrators with the objective of addressing a concern that inventions funded by the U.S. government were not being commercialized effectively. Through the years AUTM has grown beyond this single objective and now provides professional development and networking opportunities for technology transfer professionals at all career levels and from established and newly forming organizations worldwide. There are no exhibits at this event; however, sponsorships are available.
