The New Haven Elements of Dance Meetup

Elements of Dance is a fun dancercise program that promotes upper and lower body coordination and the ability to move more freely in daily life, providing vital elements for relaxation. You will have the opportunity to lead the class (if/when you feel ready) as well as participate as a member. Guest teachers will be invited on occasion to lead in Zumba, Bhangra, Salsa, Middle Eastern/belly dance and other dance styles. Once a month we will have a dance party with live bands! This is a community with zing! We can build dances for private and/or public performance with the potential for performance at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas on the New Haven Green in June 2010. Field trips are an option if enough members are interested, to places like the Basement Bhangra dance party at Sounds of Brazil in NYC. Member's suggestions for field trips are always welcome!
