New Years Day Resolution Hike - Pennybrook Trail

Let's start 2010 with an invigorating walk at Lynn Woods. We'll meet at the Pennybrook entrance, and walk the wide Pennybrook Trail for about an hour. If the weather is pleasant and the group agrees, we can extend the walk to 90 minutes. We will avoid the ponds, as the ice is questionable this time of year. The trail might be slippery, so traction devices are recommended if you have them (e.g. stabilicers, yaktrax). Come prepared with one resolution to share - or one affirmation of how you'd like to see the world improved in 2010! Any changes to our schedule due to inclement weather will be posted here by 11:30 a.m. day of walk. DIRECTIONS FROM THE NEWBURYPORT AREA: 95 south, to Route 1 south for 4.4 miles. Take the Walnut Street exit toward Lynn (toward the east). In about 2 miles, at a light, turn left onto Pennybrook Rd. The small parking lot is at the end of the road. PLEASE STAY ON-LEASH until our walk begins at 1:00.
