Description
Alessandra Tiraterra will perform a rich and wonderfully varied program with music of Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Messiaen as well as the complete Sonata No. 2 in B Flat Minor, Op. 35 of Fédéric Chopin. Born in Italy, Ms. Tiraterra has studied piano in Italy, France and the United States. She has received many honors, awards, and scholarships, and has won prizes in several piano competitions in Italy, Austria and the United States, including a 2009 First Prize in the College/Professional Category at the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York. Ms. Tiraterra has performed extensively throughout Europe and the United States, including Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall and the Mozarteum Universität in Salzburg. She is currently a Mason Gross School of the Arts candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance.
Cost
Payment required. $3.00 per person for adults who are not members of the museum. Entrance to the museum is free at all times for members, all children under 18, and Rutgers University students, faculty, and staff with a valid I.D.
