Description:
Sirens will sound for approximately 30 seconds to test the Vanderbilt severe weather siren outdoor warning system (immediately following Metro's test of their sirens at noon.)
The Vanderbilt sirens have a distinct sound that differs from Metro's. To hear the Vanderbilt siren click here.
The Metro sirens are tested at noon on the first Saturday of each month. To see the location of the Metro sirens and to hear the sound the Metro sirens make, go to http://www.nashville.gov/oem/siren/siren.htm
