Outdoor Rec: Deadline TODAY for Fly Fishing/Canoeing at Vanderbilt University

Caney Fork River, TN

Pre-Trip Meeting: Wednesday, 3/24 at 7:00 PM

The Caney Fork River is located about 90 miles east of Nashville. On this trip we will use canoes to paddle downstream to find spots to go fly fishing. All the equipment, including fly rods, reels, flies, and waders will be provided. More details will be discussed at the Pre Trip Meeting. There may be an opportunity to practice casting before the trip. Estimated trip duration: 6 AM - 7 PM.
To sign up for a trip, you must come to the Outdoor Recreation Center, located on Children's Way behind the Student Recreation Center. Hours: M & F 12 - 6 p.m., T - Th 3 - 6 p.m.
