Description
Lately in Nashville, the dialogue about the intersection of art and architecture is becoming a prominent feature in the creative landscape. From the latest urban planning issues facing our fair city to Zeitgeist Gallery's new Oblique Strategies series of multi-disciplinary speakers, it seems that "Contemporary Architecture and You" is becoming the theme of our 2009 art season. The Frist Center's latest show, Museums in the 21st Century: Concepts, Projects, Buildings, has added an important component to the dialog, and tonight's presentation by Frist curator Trinita Kennedy should add another valuable voice to the discussion. The exhibit consists of models, drawings and other design documents from the places we inhabit when art inhabits us, and Kennedy's talk will use several examples as jumping-off points for her musings.write your comment
