Description
Seven mile shuttle paddle - bring your camera! This stretch of the Piney has incredible rock formations. It's paddle #22 in the book, "Paddling Around Nashville." We'll meet at the Shell gas station at the intersection of Hwys 40 and 48. This is at Exit 163 on Hwy. 40. Get off on Exit 163, turn left on Hwy 48 to the Shell Gas Station. Meet at 10 a.m. From there we'll convoy to the put in. Bring lunch, drinks, hat, sunscreen. The take out is at Nunnelly Bridge. We'll bring ropes to pull our boats up the hill or those with 4 wheel drive can get their boat at river edge. If paying to rent a boat from someone who is not a member of PA+, please bring a copy of the waiver and proof of the renter's insurance. Leslie's cell: 681-3620
