Meditation and Clairvoyant Reading practice

This one is still TENTATIVE based on the fact the location has not been locked in yet. It will most likely be at Cosmic Connections (our preferred location). I decided to go ahead and post it so you guys can keep that date in mind since it is not that far away. What's the reason for such a short notice? I will be going out of town soon for about six weeks due to work requirements and I REALLY wanted to give you guys a taste of where Nashville Psychics is headed before I left - (one "main" monthly meetup with a speaker, movie, presentation, or discussion on a specific topic and also a few "auxillary" meetups on clairvoyance, mediumship, remote viewing, OBE's/astral projection, and, my favorite, energy healing. These auxillary meetups will be "hands-on" practice sessions) I hope to move this to a weekend day, if possible, because it is difficult for people outside of Nashville to get to meetups during the week. If there is enough interest and participation, we may even do both - one on a weekday and one on a weekend. I also don't want to conflict with any other meetups in our community if at all possible (like this time it conflicts with Ruth's meetup - I really want to get this in before I go out of town) This is the long-awaited and highly requested Clairvoyant practice/development meetup. The purpose of this meetup will be to show people how simple meditation is and to reinforce how important daily meditation is for developing clairvoyance and mediumship. The most difficult part of meditation is the discipline of doing it EVERY day. The core of the session will be spent in a brief explanation of how to do a clairvoyant reading and practicing doing readings for each other. The plan is to spend about 5 minutes setting up and explaining a little about meditation, 15 minutes meditating, 5 minutes preparing for the readings, followed by four 10-minute reading sessions with partners. So, after about an hour and ten minutes, we should be finished. The idea is to keep it short and sweet so that, even with busy schedules, people can still stop by and get a "psychic workout". The intent is not to give awesome insight to our partners, although that would be great and will likely happen often; the intent is to learn how to tune in to our own psychic insight - to train our mind that, once again, we want to respect and listen to the information coming from that quiet voice in our soul that we have spent so many years drowning out with "logic" and "practicality". Just like running, working out, playing a sport, cooking, etc, using your psychic abilities takes practice - even if you're a "natural". With regular "exercise", I believe everyone can develop their psychic abilities to the "amazing" level. The biggest reason we have any trouble getting psychic information is because we don't listen to it or trust it on a constant basis. Think of a baby learning how to walk or how to speak. They don't try it three times a week for one hour sessions, or every couple months do an intensive weekend class. They work at it CONSTANTLY! EVERY waking minute they are moving and making noises until they are speaking and needing a leash. I believe classes are great and DEFINITELY should be a part of our training, but it is instruction. The lion's share of our development depends on daily use, expectation, and trust of our psychic senses. I know it will take time, but through classes and persistent and consistent practice, we will reach the "professional level" MUCH faster than we previously imagined. I believe we are all born with psychic abilities and part of that is knowing, in our soul, EXACTLY what to do. We only need to tune in and do it - or BE it. Mary Bogart offers some GREAT classes on psychic and mediumship development and there are also SEVERAL great books out there. So, study up, share with others what you've learned, and where you learned it, and let's wake up our natural abilities. Rosemary's class REALLY opened my eyes to just how simple it is to do a clairvoyant reading is and how easily it will come if you "let go". I also learned how easily it will evade you if your mind is cluttered... This is part of the reason why meditation is so important. The charge will be $7 to help cover the cost of the room.
