OR SUBMIT DUES VIA PAY PAL IF PROMPTED FOR MEETUP EMAIL ADDRESS: healinghands1@prodigy.net Greetings all, This is not a venue but how we've decided to begin a collection for annual dues. At our recent organizers meeting it was decided that our fearless leader Jim should not have to bear the brunt of the meetup site expenses. To date he has been the one footing the bill for our group web site on Meetup and we would like to remedy that and spread the responsibility amongst our members. We all enjoy the group activities otherwise we wouldn't be members and $5.00 is a small price to pay once a year for our own enjoyment. If we as members pay this annual due we will be allowing ourselves to be more flexible with advance reservations, ticket purchases etc...... We've gotten a lot of good outing ideas from members on future events that would require the above and this can only allow us to improve our planning. I have been designated as the treasurer (in other words the due's police). New members will be charged this fee from this day forward at joining. We will be doing the collection as an activity until we find a more efficient way. Suggestions and comments from members as always are welcome. Please help us all in making this an enjoyable experience for all. Please note that membership is currently updated on a regular basis by how active a member is and from this day forward will be done according to membership dues collected.
