Here's to Your Health - Potluck and Presentation

Happy New Year! Hope 2009 is off to a great start for you! Many Vegans and Raw Foodists have chosen their lifestyle in order to improve or maintain their health. There are numerous Alternative Health Options available for those looking for non-mainstream, natural ways to achieve that lifestyle. This month, we will host special guests who will talk to us about alternative ways to manage our health. This is a no-charge event. Quinn Raines, RN, founder of Warm Springs Wellness Center here in M'boro, will make a short presentation regarding Colon Hydrotherapy and other ways of achieving natural wellness. Quiinn is also the Organizer for the Middle TN Alternative Health Meetup Group. ( www.warmspringswellness.com) Jennifer Marczyk, Health Counselor, ( check out www.integrativenutrition.com) will speak to us about health and nutrition, outside the realm of what the medical community teaches. She works with Dr, Dionne Kellogg, who operates New Life Chiropractic in Brentwood. Jennifer will discuss how nutrition plays an important role in our chiropractic health and in almost every other area of our lives. After the presentations, we will have time for questions and discussion. *As usual, please bring a vegan dish, preferably raw, a serving utensil and at least one copy of the recipe. **The Potluck starts promptly at noon , so that there will be ample time for the presentations and discussion.
