Contests and Mutt Market scheduled for Barkaroo 9
Barkaroo, the Middle Tennessee Dog Festival, promises a fun-filled day for dog lovers and their leashed friends on Saturday, November 7, 2009, 10a.m.-2p.m. This year will once again feature the popular Mr. and Miss Barkaroo contest. Other contests include Best Dressed Pooch and Owner/Dog Look-a-Like Contests. Also there will be the Mutt Market, Canine Carnival, Concessions and more.
Last year over 1,000 owners and their canines were in attendance enjoying all day events including contests and shopping at over 45 vendors with dog-related items and information. Barkaroo.com has photos from last year’s festival and information that is periodically updated for the event. Plan now to attend this year’s festival and check out Barkaroo.com frequently. Barkaroo, The Middle Tennessee Dog Festival is held at the Murfreesboro Bark Park, located at 1526 W. College St. in Murfreesboro.
