Holiday Art Mart

Having moved to  Mukilteo, Washington 5 years ago, I have been continually delighted and surprised at not only the beauty of this area but the artistic talent that populate this region.
Where else can you buy gift items uniquely handmade made by the best artisans and craftsman I dare say in the nation?I have lived all over the US and collected functional art and art in various states but never with the variety that is available in the Puget Sound region.
That is why the Mukilteo Arts Guild has decided to  host a holiday  art and gift market on November 8 from 10-4 @ the Rosehill Community Center's lower level., 304 Lincoln Ave.,Mukilteo ,WA 98275.  The Holiday Art Mart will be filled with artists, artisans and craftsman from the Western Washington area to display and sell their gifts items direct  to the public for one day only.
Debby McGehee ,president of the Mukilteo Arts Guild, and I , vice president of the Mukilteo Arts Guild, are excited about this upcoming event because we took the time to travel and  research various markets .  Then we selected the vendors from all mediums that offer the best selection of gift items representing   Western Washington. Criteria for the selection was  professional quality , craftsmanship, and variety unique to the Puget Sound area.
Fine art ready to wear, accessories, fused glass, quilts, pottery, jewelry, children's  books and  clothing,and home decor  items are just to name a few of the products that will be available for purchase during this exciting one day event.
Proceeds from the vendor space fees will go to the  Mukilteo School District High School Senior  Scholarship Fund for seniors who will be pursuing the arts in college.
The Holiday Art Mart is presented by the Mukilteo Arts Guild and co-sponsored by the City of Mukilteo
