Daily 7am-8pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. One of the special Lincoln Highway walks in Iowa, the walk follows a portion of the original Lincoln Hwy in Linn County, IA and is mostly on city sidewalks and has a few hills. Portions of the trail may be hard for wheelchairs and strollers. Attractions in Mount Vernon include historic business district along the Lincoln Hwy, Cornell College, Welcome Center, Lincoln Hwy marker, brick section and wooden railroad viaduct. Attractions in Lisbon include late 1800 Italianate homes.
