Description
Join us for an intimate conversation with Artificial Intelligence (AI) pioneer Marvin Minsky about his life’s work, the origins and development of the field, and his Society of Mind” model of human intelligence.
Over four decades, Minsky has related computing to cognitive psychology, mathematics, computational linguistics, and robotics. He has, at various points, set the research agenda for AI and has mentored dozens of graduate students who themselves went on the shape computing as well. Minsky thinks deeply about human intelligence and creativity and is currently writing a science fiction novel, The Emotion Machine.
