East Coast Snow Adventures - Learn to Snowboard Sunday - Trip #13

Learn to Snowboard at Hidden Valley, Vernon NJ, 9a-4p This Sunday trip is for first-time riders as well as those who have tried it once or twice. We'll make sure your gear fits and show you everything you need to ride down the trail in control. You ride with an instructor the entire day you are at the mountain. Make new snowboarding friends, learn a new sport, and enjoy some free cookies on us! Price includes: lift ticket, rental gear, helmet, and all-day instruction Transportation and lunch are not included in the price (but we do provide free cookies!). You are responsible for your own transportation. We encourage Meetup members to arrange carpools via the message board. The full price for this trip is $179. Meetup members receive 10% off, so your cost is $161. Refund Info: This trip requires at least three people and is subject to snow conditions at Hidden Valley. If the trip is cancelled by ECSA, participants will receive a full refund. Trip cancellation will be announced no later than noon on Fri. Mar. 12th, 2010. If the trip is on, participants cancelling after noon on Fri. Mar. 12th, 2010 will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the trip. Participants who do not inform us prior to the trip that they cannot attend will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the cost of the trip. Bad Weather Policy: If ECSA cancels the trip due to severe weather, participants will receive a full refund. We use reports from the National Weather Service as well as state agencies to make our decision. If we cancel the trip, we will inform everyone no later than 2 hours prior to the meeting time. If the trip has not been cancelled but you choose not to attend due to hazardous weather conditions, cancellation fees will be waived if you reschedule another trip within 30 days. Participants who do not reschedule their trip will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Questions?
