Can market-based solutions solve the health-care crisis? Representatives from Safeway and Oracle - two successful Bay Area companies with internal and external cost cutting healthcare strategies - will present ideas on how businesses, rather than government policies, can provide answers to the nation’s health care challenge.
The Center for the Regional Economy and Graduate Business Alumni Council at Saint Mary’s College of California present a conversation on business and healthcare.
“Business Faces the Healthcare Challenge” features Dave Vielehr, Business Development Manager at Safeway Health and Seth Catalli, Oracle's National Sales Manager for US Healthcare, will present ideas based on their respective companies’ strategies for reducing healthcare costs.
A Q&A session with audience members follows the presentations. The program will be moderated by SMC Prof. Kristine Chase, director of the Center for the Regional Economy.
