Walking Event:

Daily: dawn to dusk . Restrooms available at the start point and at the library. No restrooms along the route on Sunday. As you enter the police station - start box is to the left in the room with historical information. Very interesting room . Two routes are available. Only one event credit allowed, even if completing both routes. Moorestown is a NJ suburb near Philadelphia, located between Cherry Hill and Mt. Holly. From its beginning in the 1860's, Moorestown has been a community of homes rather than industry. The Estate (City) Route (10K) will pass stately mansions in the quaint downtown area and then trace the evolution of homes from modest to ever larger dwellings as the trail moves away from the town center. The Lake Route (12K) passes through residential areas, quaint shops and then around scenic Strawbridge Lake. Money Magazine rated Moorestown as the best town in the USA in which to live.
