Event details: Stand up comedy, a silent auction, and top Montreal DJs!

Kicking off Montreal's drug prevention week, the GRIP Montreal team invites you to a major fundraising event. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in order to add an additional full-time field-worker to our permanent team.
The evening's attractions include stand-up comedy routines from Stéphane Fallu, Dorice Simon and Louis Courchesne with Véronique Chevrier directing proceedings. Several prize draws during the evening will culminate with a draw for a $500 surprise!
The auction part of the evening features an eclectic selection of premium items, including several pairs of VIP hockey tickets for the Canadiens, two VIP tickets for the Bal En Blanc 2010, a week in a rural cottage in Eastern Townships, a day on a sailboat, a rare acoustic guitar, autographed DVD performances of Louis-José Houde and much, much more to be found in the online catalog on the event website, here http://www.gripmontreal.org/fr/encan/accueil.html (in French only).
Following the auction and prize draws, the evening will change gear into party mode to the vibes of DJ Olivier Saint-Germain and DJ Dominic Dublin (aka Tenzin) and continue until 3am.

Cost
Payment required. $20 in advance (+$1 online processing fee), $25 on the door, or $10 after 10:30pm (if you'd just like to see the DJ performances).Links
