3rd Annual Montana Independent Film Festival

The Montana Independent Film Festival will take place September 25-27, 2009 at the Wilma Theatre in Missoula, MT. The festival is Montana's premiere independent film event for fiction films, showcasing features and shorts, narrative and documentary. It is an annual event committed to the celebration of diverse perspectives and the cultivation of independent, provocative, and experimental filmmaking. By featuring work that pushes the envelope in form, style, and content, MTIFF has become a platform for screening new work and a forum for the exchange of ideas among filmmakers, audiences, and curators.

This will be the third year for the Montana Independent Film Festival. MTIFF offers special events, opportunities, and activities planned for attendees, including Q&A's, hiking with filmmakers, ceremonies, and, of course, great independent film. Discover cutting edge films both from around the world and from our own backyard.
