Wilkerson spent most of her career as a national correspondent and bureau chief at The New York Times. She is the first black woman to win a Pulitzer Prize in the history of American journalism, and the first black American to win for individual reporting. Her epic "The Warmth of Other Suns" tells of the decades-long migration of blacks from the South. Seating is first-come, first-served. Books will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.
