Best-selling author Augusten Burroughs will discuss his new book This is How on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the University of Minnesota Bookstore in Coffman Memorial Union, 300 Washington Ave. S.E. Minneapolis.
America’s premier memoirist, Augusten Burroughs delivers a self-help book that, true to his style, is completely unlike any other advice book ever published. Written with his effortless black humor and piercing insight, This is How dispenses with familiar, therapist-approved solutions to the obstacles and challenges so many people face and instead demonstrates how only rigorous, sometimes uncomfortable honesty can truly set a person free from their baggage or “heal” the parts of them that are damaged.
Burroughs will sign copies of his book following the discussion. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, or to order a signed copy visit www.bookstore.umn.edu/genref/authors.html.
