The definition of Art Brut as an artistic movement (“art created by individuals who have escaped cultural conditioning and social conformism”) is a pretty good reflection of the type of music that inspires Eddie Argos: “If I really have to cite role models, I'd have to look for examples amongst supposedly unclassifiable artists such as Half Japanese, Jonathan Richman or the TV Personalities.
