Description
Monday, February 1, 2010 through Sunday, February 28, 2010. The Stories of Marian Anderson and Leontyne Price was written under a commission from the Cincinnati Opera. Ms Danrich has created an inventive one-woman musical tribute honoring the ground breaking careers of these two opera legends. The concept, according to Ms Danrich, is a 'live documentary'. Ms Danrich provides the 'live' aspect of the show by narrating the story as well as singing various songs and arias that bring to life the music that they sang throughout their careers.
