The original fourth order Fresnel lens that once lighted the way for ships in the Milwaukee Harbor and Lake Michigan has now returned to the North Point Lighthouse. When the North Point Light Station was decommissioned in 1994, the US Coast Guard removed it from the tower. Now beautifully restored for adaptive resue as a museum and event space, the North Point Lighthouse will feature its one-of-a-kind lens in the main gallery along with other nautical artifacts.
