Similar to a book of the month discussion, this is a movie of the month discussion group. Rent the movies when and how it's convenient for you - Netflix, Blockbuster, local library, borrow it from a friend, etc... View the movies once, twice, the extras, the director's commentary, whatever you wish! We'll pick Indie movies or movies off the beaten path. Then we get together the fourth Saturday of the month for lunch to discuss what everybody got out of the movies. This month: Run Lola Run: After fiddling some money, Manni has to deliver 20000 DM. Unfortunately he leaves the cash in the subway - a dosser is very happy about that. Now there are 20 minutes remaining for Manni to deliver the money otherwise he's for the high jump. Desperately he phones his girl-friend Lola who helped him out of every situation so far. Will she be able to get 100000 DM in twenty minutes. Well, there are different ways to do that... À la folie... pas du tout (He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not): Angelique, a young student, is in love with a married doctor. We see her attempts to make him leave his pregnant wife, but he does not appear for meetings or finally the booked journey to Florence. Then the movie is turned back to the beginning, and the view changes: We are now following the view of the doctor instead of Angeliques. And things look quite different now...
