Meditation and Mystical Tea July Meetup

Hello Everyone, My name is Reverend Margaret. I am a non-denominational mystical Christian priest. I have been meditating for over 8 years. I am eager to meet others in the Milwaukee area who are interested in learning how to meditate or who practice meditation and come together to meditate. This will not be a Christian-based meditation group, but it will focus on learning skills to concentrate and relax, so a connection can be made with the still small voice within. Quieting the wild and unruly mind can be difficult, but is very doable, with some desire and effort. Mysticism just means "knowing through experience," and what better way to experience God inside than through meditation. The intention is to come together monthly for a Meditation and Mystical tea. This is what it will look like... We will practice several different traditions of guided meditation, followed by silent meditation. We will have time to discuss our experiences and talk about ways to deepen our practice over some tea. The whole thing will be about 1 hour.
