I'm on the email list for Emery's Bike Shop. I just got notice that on November 11th, 7:15 PM , they are going to host a evening with Dave Orlowski! He's a Legend! He's an "Original!" He's an "Ironman!" Join us at our Menomonee Falls store on Wednesday, November 11th at 7:15 p,m. for a very special evening! Dave Orlowski, one of the 15 original Ironmen will be coming to Emery's to share his stories and adventures from previous races. In 1978, Dave, a 22 year old Marine, joined 14 other athletes to participate in the 1st Ironman competition held in Hawaii. Dave finished 3rd in '78. 30 years later, Dave successfully competed in the 30th Hawaii Ironman. Now, Dave has his sights set on something even bigger: he plans on competing in EVERY Ironman in the world over the next 5 years!
