Description
We will meet outside of the Betty's Big Backyard area at 10am on the benches. We will hang out there for 15 mins then go into the Big Backyard. Look for the Happy Mama Meetup sign. Adults & children age 1 and older $6 Seniors (age 55 and older) $5 Children younger than 1 year FREE Members FREE Click for more info on Betty Brinn When I first came I had trouble finding the entrance, here is some help: There is a big orange sculpture between a small parking garage and building (Miller something). The Betty Brinn Museum is behind the Miller building. If you are next to the orange sculpture facing the Miller building walk on the left side of the building, pass the first set of stairs and continue on. Use the 2nd or 3rd set of stairs/ramps to get to the museum. Once inside there is an elevator located on the left and a grand staircase in the center which will led you to the admissions desk. After paying the Big Backyard is in the far left corner next to the grocery store, the benches are outside of the Backyard facing the lake. Parking: Parking is available in the O'Donnell Park Garage, accessible off of Michigan Street. Museum visitors receive a $2 discount when obtaining a voucher from the Museum's Information Desk. Museum visitors can park at the US Bank Garage (Michigan Street at Cass Street) for $1 on Saturdays and Sundays when having their parking ticket stamped at the Museum's Information Desk. Limited street metered parking is available on Wisconsin Avenue and other area streets. Snacks: The Museum sells limited snack goods. The Museum also has an on-site beverage machine featuring water, juice, soda and lemonade. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages which can be stored in a locker during a visit. Snacks can be enjoyed in Picnic Place in the Museum (no food or beverages are allowed within exhibit areas), or outside the Museum on picnic benches. Lockers: Lockers are available for rent with a returnable deposit of $5 or a driver's license. Museum staff assigns lockers to guests at the Information Desk.
