New Years Day Families and Friends Walk - FREE

We are delighted to host once again, a walk at Willen Lake to get some fresh air, clear the head from the night before and shift a few calories from an excess of Christmas cheer! Bring family and friends, children and pets and wrap up nice and warm for a stroll around Willen Park taking in the North Lake and all of wondrous sights, sounds and smells. Pick up on the peace and serenity of this special place passing no less than five monuments to Peace in the park, spotting the goats on the island and the birds on the water or waiting for you to feed them bread. Simple pleasure, easy exercise and fresh air. Meeting at the Peace Pagoda Car Park (to keep you warm while everyone gathers, we will walk at 2 pm for about an hour at a very leisurely pace. There is no charge for this MeetUP but we do ask for a voluntary contribution to Willen Hospice on the day if you have enjoyed your walk.
