St. Rose of Lima

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternity of Catholic men with one paramount purpose: to demonstrate our Christianity through acts of charity. To that end, we conduct a variety of charity programs and fund-raisers that will generate awareness of our mission and of course, funds to enable us to support our many charitable causes. And that`s what has brought us to the world of Bar-B-Q, we also like to have fun doing it.

Some of the charities that we support will be at the event to lend us a hand with some of the hard work, like judging the food or setting up an information booth to let the public know what they are all about. Santa Rosa ARC, EscaRosa Special Olympics,Miracle League, Pregnancy Resource Center, Morning Star school and the Boy Scouts of America. We have also decided to take on The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Funds as the recipient of the BBQ proceeds this year (freedomalliance.org).

There will also be fun and games for the kids,live music from some of the local talent, a horseshoe tournament and some of the best cookin` around.
