Native Americans used snowshoes for thousands of years to make winter travel through deep snow possible. CNCs Kyle Bagnall will teach you the basics of snowshoeing and then take you on a short walk on and off the trails to enjoy the winter wonderland. Meet at the temporary Visitor Center. If you need to borrow snowshoes, please call 631-0830 to reserve a pair. If snow conditions are unfavorable, the hike will be canceled (based on the discretion of CNC).
