OVERVIEW | ABOUT US | WHO ARE WE? | EVENT CALENDAR AT-A-GLANCE | MEMBERSHIP OVERVIEW Our THIRD meeting as a group in South Beach will be like a good movie trailer - you don't know what is going to happen until it does, and yet you are excited as you anticipate something great about to unfold! That is what our gathering will be like. A group of like-minded socialites looking to get together for good food, better conversation and ultimately, travel locally to one of three parties. Part of our discussion will be about travel, and the great many events this group will have the opportunity to take part in. ABOUT US Social Travelers has been around as a business since the late summer of 2001. It started as a way to make extra money selling weekend getaways to party goers in New York City and Houston, then evolved into a full-fledged theme-tour company. What set S.T. travel apart is that all of its tours cater to music somehow...it's founder, DJ Freedom is a DJ! This year, Social Travelers will expand to New Orleans and Atlanta with full-time chapters, just as we have now entering Miami with this one. Our mission is to "travel with style and purpose" with between 30-40 theme-driven tours each year. Our Miami group will host nearly a dozen of them. Nearly half of our offerings are original-meaning we created them and present them to the general public-and the others are established events. WHO ARE WE? Social Travelers Miami is made of 3 groups: (1) Party goers (23-45) (2) Travel-minded people (27- 65) (3) College students and alumni (18-24 and 26-65+) MEMBERSHIP Members pay $10 a month for basic membership. It gets you admission to all of our meetups, which often take places at high-end venues that require RSVP. VIP membership is $25 a month and Supreme membership is $50 a month. Membership can be canceled at any time, but no refunds are available. We will be accepting payment for this meetup in person once again; after we will make provisions for PayPal and possibly Amazon...but members may still pay in person. If after this meetup you do not attend or have not made your basic membership payment, you will need to do so within 7 days or your membership may be declined. Membership at a basic level also includes access to all of our 30-40 events taking place throughout the year (in addition to our primary monthly event), our email newsletter and a chance to win discounted and/or free travel. VIP membership includes the above with admission to TWO events a month-one for our general members, and an exclusive event, such as a 4 hour cruise or admission to one of South Beach's hottest nightclubs, for example (we do more than just party, by the way-but that is a big part of it!). VIP members also get VIP treatment at all of our events, as well as FREE travel vouchers, good for various destinations around the country good for up to one year. And there's more!! Supreme membership includes the above PLUS free drinks and/or dinner at one of our gatherings every month, exclusive merchandise, and access to additional free or discounted travel. The various levels of membership will NOT alienate anyone from enjoying the group, and membership levels can be up or downgraded at any time. Please inquire if you have any questions.
