The BAC is pleased to host the premiere exhibition of Xavier Cortada's North Pole Installations. From November 28th, 2009-January 1st, 2010, Xavier Cortada will turn the BAC Main Gallery into an interactive Eco-art installation. The exhibit includes contemporary art pieces documenting his work at the North Pole as a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) sponsored artist. Each piece has its own participatory component, so participants can recreate the ritualistic performances and engage in local action. Accompanying these installations and videos will be 360 original drawings of the same endangered animals that were featured by in the artist's installation at the North Pole in 2008.
