Description
"Welcome To Gulu," an exhibition curated by acclaimed American artist Ross Bleckner on behalf on the UN Office of Drugs and Crime and the International Criminal Court's Trust Fund for Victims opens in Miami October 24th with a public reception Saturday, November 14th.
The benefit exhibition and art sale will feature 50 paintings created by former child soldiers and abducted girls form Gulu, Uganda, described by The New York Times as "luminous."
Proceeds raised by the sale of the children's paintings, as well as portraits taken by Bleckner, will benefit former child soldiers and abducted girls.
