Sunday Morning Service: Boyce Thompson Arboretum

This is a beautiful arborteum nature hike in the far east valley. The cost is 7.50 per person. Its about a 1.5 mile trek through beautiful desert and mountain scenery. It will be a perfect time to discuss the wonders of nature from an evolutionary non-believing perspective. We suffer through the summer here to be able to enjoy the grandeur of the valley in the fall,winter,and spring. Come out and lets enjoy nature in a non-believing way! For starters we'll supercharge with a good double expresso skinny carmel non-fat latte at starbucks and then head out in groups to save on gas. If you don't want to stop for Coffee just meet us at 10:50 am at the Arborteum. Where we will meet Meet: Starbucks at Ellsworth Rd and Baseline (Southeast corner, Albertson's shopping center, 480-984-6497) at 8:00am. It's about a 35 minute drive to the park from there. If you're coming from the Santan 202 (South 202), exit Baseline Rd, turn RIGHT (heading East), Starbucks/Albertsons will be on your right. If you're coming from the Red Mountain 202 (North 202), exit Baseline Rd, turn LEFT (heading East), Starbucks/Albertsons will be on your left past the light at Ellsworth Rd. If you're coming from the Eastbound US-60, exit Ellsworth Rd, turn RIGHT (heading South), Starbucks/Albertsons will be on your left past the light at Ellsworth Rd.
