Return of the Tribe

Return of the Tribe WeÂÂ've all heard the rumors: swine flu pandemic, the collapse of the dollar, catastrophe (2012), martial law, ET disclosure, earth changes. Many of us have a certain 'sense' that something big is about to happen that will change everything. There is no way to tell whichÂÂ-if anyÂÂ-of these events will happen or what it is that gives us a sense of impending discontinuity. Whatever the cause, everyone has a concern that change is in the offing. Something is about to make life different. How that will be is unclear and how our society will react is uncertain. Change can be difficult and uncomfortable if one feels insecure. Many of us already feel the pressure of possible impending change. How can you plan for what you don't know will happen? The valuable tool that we have to deal with social change is community. Friendship is a valuable assist to relieve the discomfort of an ambiguous future. A hug or a smile can be heartwarming, letting us know that we are not alone. A return to tribal sharing, the simple way of life can calm the waters. The more pronounced the change the more important our friendship becomes. We have an option. We can close ranks. In so doing the change events (whatever they may be) can trigger our transformation into a more caring community. Community is an antidote to insecurity. When things get difficult, true friendship becomes family. And family can be powerful. I just want to take this opportunity to say that I am thankful for our UFO 2012 group and I wish you all a safe, happy, and blessed New Year. Regardless of what happens ....We are Family. We are having a sharing group on Dec. 19th and I do hope that you will join me and your many friends in sharing our hearts and stories. Let's future-proof our community by developing our friendship.
