Gluten-Free Holiday Cookie Exchange

Odds are, this is your first gluten-free holiday season. Being gluten-free does not have to mean a cookie-free season! While gluten intolerance makes a traditional cookie exchange impossible, this group provides a great avenue to share and try lots of new recipes and to stock your home with safe, yummy treats. For those of you who are not familiar with cookie exchanges, the idea is that each person picks one cookie recipe, buying the ingredients in bulk, and baking a dozen for each other guest. Everybody walks away from the party with several dozen cookies in a variety of flavors. Yum! Please include with your RSVP what recipe you will be bringing so as to avoid repeats. If your interested in hosting the event, please let me know. I will post a location as the event nears. Keep in mind, some members are also lactose intolerant or vegetarian/vegan. If you know of any tasty recipes that accommodate these dietary restrictions, please consider using them. Also, be sure to include a detailed print-out of recipe ingredients with each dozen.
