Then call and join us along the way. The Parks & Rec. of Amherst NH. Has invited us to join them in their winter activities. So, lets do some snowshoeing. You can ski or snowshoe. But, only the snowshoes are for rent at this location. We do an easy 1 to 3 hour hike on the trails. We can even get a guide if we ask. So, come on out and enjoy the season. Vicky L. the director wrote: Hello Everyone- We hope you're enjoying the snow as much as we are! Snowshoeing conditions are great and we don't have any reports of blocked trails. Snowshoes are available in a variety of sizes for <30 lbs. to >220 lbs. If you can walk, you can snowshoe! Rent in person during PMEC hours of operation. Monday & Tuesday 9AM-1PM; Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12:00-4:00PM. $6 per resident / $8 per non-resident maximum four hour usage or $10 for 24 hour rental. Don't forget about our School Vacation Day programs for school aged children. Enjoy indoor & outdoor activities such as Hiking, Animal Tracking, Nature Crafts, Songs, Stories, and Games!
