This event repeats monthly on the 2nd Friday for 1 times
The Memphis Contra Dancers meet to dance on the second, fourth and fifth Friday of each month. There is usually a lesson for beginners (or those wishing to refresh or polish their contra dance skills) which starts at 7 pm, with the dance proper starting at 7:30 and running till 9:30-10 pm or thereabouts. Contra Dance at Idlewild Presbyterian Church

The Memphis Contra Dancers meet to dance on the second, fourth and fifth Friday of each month. There is usually a lesson for beginners (or those wishing to refresh or polish their contra dance skills) which starts at 7 pm, with the dance proper starting at 7:30 and running till 9:30-10 pm or thereabouts. Live music is usually provided by The Reel McCoy but sometimes we will have another guest band.

Idlewild Pres. donates the space to the dancers, and all our callers work on a volunteer basis, so there is no admission fee; however a donation of $5-$7 per person is requested- all money goes to the band!
