Oceanside Weekly 5000 Year Leap study group

We had another great meeting of our Oceanside 5000 Year Leap study group on Tuesday night. Thanks to all who attended. We plan to continue meeting at Oceanside Community Church on TUESDAYS at 7:00 pm until we finish the book (about mid April). Next class (March 23rd) we plan to cover the 22nd & 23rd principles. We invite all who wish to join us in learning about the miraculous founding of our great nation, and of the faith that guided our Founders and Framers on their unprecedented journey. WeÂÂ'll learn whatÂÂ's in our Constitution, why the Framers put it there, and, perhaps as important in this age of ÂÂ"changeÂÂ", whatÂÂ's not in our Constitution and why, after much consideration and debate, they left it out.. It is my considered opinion that those who, after much deliberation and debate, settled upon the final version of our Constitution as subsequently ratified, possessed much more wisdom than we generally credit them with, that they were, indeed, Divinely inspired and lot wiser than any of their successors in office (especially the current crop), and that we ignore the word and spirit of that precious Document at our peril and to our own detriment and that of our posterity. Each class will consist of viewing the study/lecture DVD's (approx. 1 hour) followed by a discussion of what was covered. The class is free, however "the hat will be passed" to help defray expenses. We have a limited supply of books available at our cost ($6.00 ea). Pre-reading the next lessons (usually 2 chapters) will give you a leg up on the class.
