Description

The Palace Theatre Melbourne opened in 1912, then known as Brennan's. Over the years following, the venue underwent numerous name changes before finally and officially becoming the Palace Theatre Melbourne as we know it now, in 2007.

Centrally located in the city's theatre district, the Palace Theatre Melbourne maintains much of its original charm, the only changes and alterations made, being those required to improve the venue's performance space and general aesthetic.

The Palace Theatre Melbourne is undoubtedly up there amongst the city's top live performance venues - its credibility illustrated by the list of internationally acclaimed acts who have appeared there; Moby, Kasabian, Florence and the Machine, Jimmy Eat World, Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Birds of Tokyo and Band of Horses are just a few of those featured on the Palace Theatre schedule in the past.
